With over two decades of diverse experience spanning clinical psychology, education, and communal leadership, Dr. Ringo’s career reflects his exceptional intellect, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Dr. Ringo earned his PhD in School/Applied Child Psychology from McGill University, where his research focused on visual attention in typical development and autism spectrum disorder. He also holds two master’s degrees: one in School and Applied Child Psychology, and another in Educational Psychology. His academic journey is distinguished by multiple prestigious fellowships and awards, including the Fonds de Recherche du Québec Fellowship and international research mobility grants.

Dr. Ringo has contributed significantly to the fields of clinical psychology and child mental health. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/Kennedy Krieger Institute, he specialized in psychological assessments and therapies for children and adolescents with complex conditions, such as autism, OCD, and tic disorders. His expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other evidence-based approaches has helped countless individuals and families.

His research contributions are equally impressive, with multiple publications in renowned journals, including studies on attentional blink paradigms, time estimation in autism, and academic motivation. Dr. Ringo has also presented at numerous international conferences, showcasing his dedication to advancing the understanding of cognitive development and mental health.

Dr. Ringo’s passion for education is evident in his roles as a professor and mentor. At McGill University, he taught graduate courses on child and adolescent therapy techniques, preparing future clinicians for effective practice. As Principal of the Nigri International Online School, he oversaw the development of innovative educational programs for children in remote locations.
